Our compliance team is directly led by Malcolm Davie an ex-VOSA Traffic Examiner with experience of the full range of enforcement procedures in both the goods and passenger industries.  In his enforcement career Malcolm has regularly presented cases at Magistrates courts for both VOSA and DVLA on a range of issues including drivers hours, driver licensing, construction and use, vehicle excise and operator licensing matters.  Immediately before joining ACT, Malcolm worked in the policy areas of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency at Swansea and was involved in the introduction of digital tachographs, driver Certificate of Competence and the recently introduced Road Transport Act 2006.
